You know, I sure would like to meet whichever idiot buys that 900k flat just opposite from mine and laugh in his face..... hell, my flat's bigger than that (you can see the diff from Fatumnette's flat - mine has an extra utility room), it also has a sea view, and it would certainly cost far less than 900k...
But I guess I shouldn't be too surprised if it does get sold at that price.... as they say, there's a sucker born every minute....

If you ask me to pay 650k for a flat there or 800k for a seaview flat at Marine ParadeI rather take the downtown flat seriously :x

Uni President not Taiwanese brand mehAnyway I am trying to stay clear PRC products though I love their straw mushrooms, braised pork and the preserved bamboo shoot in chilli and their fermented beancurd :(

Aiyoh..... of course I wouldn't pay such exorbitant amounts for a heartland flat....
If I had to choose between staying in an ultra-expensive flat near my parents, or a cheaper downtown flat, of course I'd stay downtown.....
All I'm saying is, I'd far rather pay 400k to live in Simei than to pay 650k to live at Bras Basah....

I like Simei too. I really love the place though there are more people nowWe were looking at Tampines and Pasir Ris at the time and didn't think of Simei.
I'm glad my dad reminded us of Simei

FS and I are still looking at some options, considering that we don't have CPF on our allowances....
Fatum went through with us on our options.... without going into too many details, let's just say that things are rather complicated at the moment....

ROC = Republic of China also known as Taiwan today.Straw mushroom is nice. Fermented beancurd got from ROC one ma, tat small square bottle one.
