a couple of years isn't a career.
a career is an occupation undertaken for a significant part of a person's life
photography isn't my career YET because i'm barely 2yrs into full time
we chose our job, no one force us into it.. must well make the joy out of it..
for my company, me and staff blasted our chinese music real loud and runs around office, warehouse and everywhere... though physically and mental draining, we leave office happy cos work done :)
at the end of the day, we receive our wages, he went for his hotel-hopping stays (enjoy even in singapore) and his universal studio thingy..and i shall save them for my holidays and food :)
that's why everytime you see the stupid SAF wanting people to make it their career

it can be start of a career
well the policeman didn't choose that "job" if he's a NSF

not so bad lah.. i have seen pple serving SAF 20 years and happy where they are working..
not earning too much, but simple living.. a good house, good kids, good holidays and happy... not just SAF lah...

its the same as some kana being called to serve SAF.
some of my friend's son being called to do NSF.. they said they prefer it than SAF.
they get to see more things and some considering signing 2 years to be regular to learn ... well they are young, why not try..? :)

nope, not that interested
i plan to sit back and let money roll in another way
i'm just shooting for fun
i refuse to engage in tickling customers. after i switched to commercial, i haven't met a single client to "entice" them to get me.
if i was serious about it, you'd see me working really hard to get customers.

NSF = National Service Full time = Police / SAF / SCDF
2 yrs is what they offer now? good
because their old plan of 10yrs contract will take away your 20s and u come out in your 30s
now 3G hearing lots of problem

u want to know what's happening now?
enciks want to leave, but cannot
why? because 2G - 2.5G phase, life is happy. Got house, family and car.
now 3G, life is crap. but they bo pian, because got commitments, so they stay.
i was very happy in my sqn, until SAF started to become 3G with their lesser, cheaper, better theory.
from 2 people service aircraft, become 1
then that 1 person gotta service 2 aircrafts
but output required within that certain time will maintain
commercial aviation get OT, we get nothing.
at least last time i finish on time, i feel more relaxed and happier.
at that time, i wanted it to be a career
i was on 6 years contract last time..:)
but i left after 4 years, no need to pay back (contract void) as my colonel and major helped me to get it done immediately *super grateful* :)
I have gotten my diploma and a job offer who was paying twice SAF pays me :)

2 days regular = 1 day NSF
so should be 3yrs or 4
better than last time... 5 yrs.
either way a short term contract for people to try out is good.
the old system will suck your 20s away
going off riao
back in e late afternoon
one of my cpt officer left after 1 year (i left), and become property agent... he is doing very well now :)
he said he was glad he left.. he served more than 20 years too....

eh
MSG and encik = workers
they work with me out in the airfield leh
the lazy MSG / enciks will kena f*ck upside down by the men because i cannot afford to have someone to be a receptionist in the office like last time.
can you believe that? encik is IC, but he's out there helping us tow aircraft and stuff, like normal working men.
only when got enough men then he can go to office to be receptionist, which is sometimes.
3G is fantastic.

got a friend who left SPF after serving 10 years there..
when he got out, he got a long time to adapt to the commerical world, as he has no other skills than handling pple

u should pity the SAF people in the classified units
go out with "zero" work experience
what can they say? "i fix aircon in my 7yrs in SAF"?

forgot it lah..
its like the chinease saying.... east house no hit, hit the west lor ..
the world is full of opportunites and learning paths.. our lives are short hor..
its ok, my hours to pay ratio is much better than SAF now.
somemore without any form of aggressive marketing
i still haven't reach the low levels of other photographers who make clones to make it seem like their business is good and bluff other people. (yes, the big name ones u see now, used to do it when they were still small)
business is doing good considering that my progress has been "clean"
