I think people should realise that the hit list is also part of the humour. People that I actually dislike are never on that list. -
I think most of us here can laugh at ourselves and laugh at each other with no ill feelings.

that'll be so sad right?the point we are trying to make here, gentle readers, is that if you really cannot accept a little fun made at your expense every now and then by the inhabitants here, then perhaps you should change the channel. club 30 is where we tekan each other on a regular basis.

Let me just clarify things a bit....
I don't mind if you guys want to discuss food and drinks while I'm fasting, be it online or right in front of me....
Heck, by all means eat, drink and be merry in front of me.... I'm the one who's fasting, not you guys.
The only thing that I cannot tolerate is people who offer me food/drink even though they know full well that I'm fasting. Even as a joke, that's asking for trouble.
If you forget that I'm fasting, and you offer me food/drink, I can still accept that you're just being well-meaning, and I won't hold it against you. Just don't do it intentionally if you know that I'm fasting.

Sadly, there have been a couple of occasions.... Even after I clarified that I was fasting, they still insisted. I gave them a dirty look and walked off.
One related incident was when I was walking around Geylang Serai with a few of my Mat friends. We walked past a potbellied ah pek sitting lazily in a chair.
He called out to us: 'Eh, boy, are you hungry? Wah, I very the hungry leh.....'
And then he moaned while rubbing his bare potbelly.

I was just gulity of asking HM to go drink water (coz his breath stinks) this morning coz I forgot he is fasting.

If you forget, I won't hold it against you.... you meant well, after all. I've had quite a few encounters of people offering me Mentos/etc while fasting.... and they all apologised profusely when I clarified things.
Anyway, while HM can't drink, he can still rinse his mouth with mouthwash.
Two caveats, though: he must spit it all out, and it has to be non-alcoholic (Oral B or Pearly White are both fine).

Actually, now that I think about it, it was dastardly, disgusting, and yet funny in a way.....
After all, the ah pek was rubbing his bare potbelly while moaning....
