I also dunno about Excel IF function.
Maybe the ppl in the IT support forum can help.
I only use for sum and doing stuff like calculating Gross Profit, Gross Margin etc

if syntax: =IF(test condition, value if true, value if false)The formula should be as below:
=IF(year>25, 25*salary, year*salary)eg. cell A1=year, cell B1=salary
Placing the formula at cell C1 would be: =IF(A1>25,25*B1,A1*B1) -

I've hardly touched excel....so how am I to know what's IF function?And the sad thing is, I found that I had more patience sieving through some of the nikar BS, than the debate going on at the "teacher threatens to cut ear off" thread.

go take pictures leh..last time, when i was posted to woodlands, on the first day i noticed a weaver bird with the chick in the nest.. it was right outside the rest room...
when i went there with my camera the next day to take pictures, i saw the chick crawl out of the next and fly away.. and that was it.. opportunity lost forever..

should start playing with the math functions - very useful for modelling etc. are you taking any finance papers? -
