3 months ? lol!
Dun think u need a degree in quantum physics to work your blackberry.. got so high tech or not.
using O2 zinc. the worst phone i ever use and make me stay away from PDA phone in the future.
sometimes it will hang when there a phone call coming in. and the only way to solve the problem is to reset ur phone.
even though generally I love my gadgets...
the handphone is one thing I don't splurge on at all.
mine's a crappy little cheap motorola I got from GIANT.
But I'm thinking of getting one that can have a reasonably good 'calendar' diary thingy - any suggestions? Are those blackberry keyboards any real good?
Love my Nokia E66
Only thing I dun like is the various steps needed to 'mark' a msg to delete a few at the same time. In the end I just select the mark all and delete :x
Currently on Motorola Rokr. But fell in love with SE C905. Gonna save up for it!

Not so much high tech. The thing comes with a cheat sheet that's 8 pages long.

Shro, that's the Blackberry Curve. I'm kicking myself for not picking that one over the Pearl. I'd much prefer having a full qwerty keyboard. I think it would make my life a whole lot easier.

Believe it or not. I had problems smsing with a qwerty keyboard coz I like to sms with 1 hand

What stopped me from selecting the Curve were the small keys. My fat fingers wouldn't be typing accurately and I'd get aggravated.

Got insurance or not? Here it's $5 a month. Good to have for clumsy people like me. :p
I like my Nokia 3120C but when ever I take pic of buses, it all gave me daf-ish even though it is stationary
Originally posted by jetta:Haha... Say, how much is cellphone insurance there? It's US$5 a month here.
no such thing here..

only certain models la..
generally singapore is very updated ..
u should compare us with australia, newzealand ..... their phone models are really really outdated..
Love my N5300 Xpressmusic! That rocks!
Love my current Nokia 6120 classic.
Its 3G, has a basic camera, has fm radio, can store in video clips & mp3s via a SD card or just blutooth it.
Oh, and it has bluetooth functions & MMS.
Only gripe is that its not internet friendly. Have a hard time just looking at the small prints on webpages that it downloads s l o w l y.....
And I drop it countless times. I shatter into a few pieces, put it back again and it works.
So now I use a silicon case to keep them together and soften my drops. Now on the 2nd silicon case liao....
And, it got games and some currency converter and other countries time too. Really useful.
I have a Motorola W220. It has no camera, no MP3 player, no MMS capabilities, no SD card slots...but it just goes on and on and I can use it for up to 9 days without recharging! It's been with my for 30 months now.
I hope it keeps going on. I hate predictive text messaging and can't switch it off on newer phones.

my phone also came out in australia before singapore
bbut yeah true, theirs is quiteoutdated. but their plans are better I think. Their data plans seem to be much cheaper.

How many cell phone providers in Sg now? I just switched to get some bill relief. I get 700 minutes on a family plan for about $90 a month on 4 phones. On top of that, I paid $5 for each of my two kids to have up to 500 text msgs a month.
But I'm kicking myself for not having gone with AT&T because a month after we switched, we got their new holy trinity service. If I were on their cell service, I can record TV shows off my cell, just one of the features I really like.
i am still using my old 4-year old siemen phone...
and the Knn K700i still at ccb SE service centre, dun want to return hah!...

Still loving my Motorola V3. Slim and not so fussy and low tech.

and i love surfing net on my e90. see the whole page at one go. this is probably the only phone with 800-pixel width and thanks to the secondary screen and large battery, battery is not an issue compared to powering a 800w screen all the whole.
