In the end my aunt and his gf had to fly over to look after him coz he called back to SG for help coz he can't leave the apartment and the food they sent him were all the german stuff like sausages etc which seriously you don't wanna eat those when you're sick

It's so bullshit lah! First time the technicians came in, they did fix our phoneline. But we knew the bad news a few years later when we installed the broadband and crap, when the second batch on technicians told us that the phone socket has been rewired and shit.
Yesterday I thought the lines went out thanks to the first group's fuck up. Guy comes in and just changes the modem, and voila works again.

The other plug's dedicated to the modem.
I managed to setup the second screen, all I needed was a HDI-I plug. So awesome.
