it's not about AWARE as a group that got people riled up .....
it's when the new exco started getting sanctimonious about their beliefs ......
frankly, I don't really give a damm about what's happening there, but when that old lady Thio went "okie, if people are so ignorant, then we shall teach them" ... I went "go fark yourself" in my head .....
these bible toting talebans ought to be taught a good lesson ..... too many of these born-again people have been trying to bring their religious bigotry into civic society ....

I feel it MOE is at fault. don't they have a standard sex education syallbus? To get another organisation to teach, it is as if they have endorsed at organisation thinking as well.

They've certainly sidelined a lot of people, even those who never really cared about AWARE at all before this.
Like how they abhorred giving male members the vote.... gosh, the whole point of the women's suffrage movement has been turned on its head.

somehow i feel that the whole thing was blown out of proportion. i thing the old guard also endorsed male votes. The whole thing is all about how the "old guard" were thrown off the organisation.Makes me wonder waht will happen if anything like Malaysia politics in Penang etc happen here

teachers would sneak in a minute or two in their lectures ...... you's shut up cos he or she's the one that marks your test scripts .....
and how would you prove such things .... the first reaction of the powers-that-be is to sweep such things under the table cos it would be such a farking big mess ...and of course ... who'd want to go against them when such a large numbers of them populate the corridors of power ? .... scaly the principal subscribe to the same beliefs too ? ....
