Just got back from consultation with the prof, lunch, and reading TNP.... the headline made me shake my head sadly....
Some dude went to JB with gold rings on every finger, figuring that no one would mess with him.... predictably, he got mugged, and was tragically killed.....
Seriously, what was he thinking, man? Even his relatives warned him to not flaunt his wealth!

Haiz. I thought for a long time yesterday and plan my new schedule... Hopefully i won't be that tired... It didn't affect my working hrs... haiz... took me an hr to find a solution but i dunno will work out or not...
nvm...
burn out, since 3 years ago i already had a burn out... lol i know how it felt... well i won't let it happen again... i still remember that time i seriously dun go school or work and just stay home all day long... haha

Reminds me of this couple who drove up the N-S highway last year..... alone, and in a Ferrari with SG license plates.
Predictably, they got mugged and assaulted.
What were they thinking sia.... if you must drive flashy cars, drive in a convoy, and if you must drive alone, drive a low-end model. Better still, rent a Malaysian-plate car.

even then you're not safe ... there's this chap who got mugged as part of the convoy at a coffee shop, neh ? ....
he was shot in the buttoks or something ....
nowadays malaysia is like the wild wild west ... remember what I posted a few days back ? my uncle's business partner got relieved of his brand new toyota harrier in the driveway of his house ! .... that's in KL ....

it's about how much a target you make yourself. Go in with cash stuffed in your pockets sticking out you're a definite target.
Go in normal and it's really down to luck.

let me give you an example of my sister's friends .....
they went in to KL, like many Singaporeans did to take advantage of the weak ringgit ...
were eating placidly at a fast food joint, when this lone, non-descript man walked up to their table and said
"now I know you guys are Singaporeans, I don't like you guys coming here. Before finishing your meal, you're to leave 100 ringgit each on the table. I have friends waiting outside." and he sat down at an opposite table .....
if it were you .... what would you do ? ....
frankly, I dunno how cassie's managed to survive there alone unscathed till now ...
