Biangz... you should feel so proud, Pinky! You were the one who thought of the name for the Jive Pad way back then!

I wanted a thread like this because a few of us kept talking in the SB and I thought why not 'immortalise' our chat in a dedicated thread instead. Remember those early days? Loved your catchy title then and still love it now. Hehehe!

Has it only been five months, cassie? You seem to be very much a part of us liao leh!
Too bad when I lost my online connection for over a year, I dropped the welcome thread for newcomers otherwise I'd have formally welcomed you.
The new year fireworks at harbourfront or esplanade?

av! I spent the morning staying at home playing PC games whilst hoping for the postman to turn up with my surprise... but haiz...
Then at 1:30pm, almost fainting from hunger, I decided to head to Victoria Gardens Mall. I told myself to save money by cooking my meals but I couldn't resist the Hainanese Chicken Rice. Bloody AUD 7.80 but at least the chilli sauce was authentic and the chicken was tender and the rice was mildly flavoured. As close to the real McCoy as we can get here.
Then I went to Angus Robertson and K-Mart scouting for the best price for the book, "Marley and Me" with Jennifer Anniston and Owen Wilson on the cover. I want to read the book before watching the movie. Bloody AUD 25.00!! WHY are bloody fiction books so darn expensive these days?!
BTW, av and fudgie, please go commit yourselves to reading a certain number of books for 2009 in our new League of Booklovers thread!

I had my Christmas celebrations before Christmas so I took a break on Christmas cause it was too hot to head out anyways. I did have dinner and a drive with a friend later that evening.
How did you spend yours?
Rhonda should play WOW with us =X

I can't even play Mafia Wars because I cannot bear to initiate gang fights on anyone. So I'm just a duckie that sits around and only takes revenge on those who pick fights with me unreasonably.
Like that, how to play WOW?!

OK... no more.... say no more!! Don't spoil my fun!
I think I shall try using the DVD rental machine at the mall. First rental is free whilst subsequent rentals are only AUD2.99 daily per DVD. Not bad!
I'm hankering with nothing but economics now.....
Eh... blooey, is the movie screening in Singapore cinemas now? We have to wait till January here.

Economics... I have bittersweet memories of it...
When I was in ACJC, for the first few weeks in my microeconomics tutorial classes, I topped the class and my tutor thought maybe I could offer Economics as an 'S' paper.
And then, very soon, graphs and formulas and numbers started to be introduced. Right away, my grades plunged and I became a bottom feeder overnight! My tutor was horrified with my swift fall... little did she know that I am majorly crippled by my maths phobia! I'm more of a words person. Introduce numbers and maths and I si liao... die very badly for all to watch!
