I'm not good at this genre but it sounds to me akin to saying that a street directory is different from a road map.

Yah, I got the WoW graphic novel, apparently the hardback I bought is a compilation of a few books into one. When I went to look for the rest, it was all thin, paperbacks, and really expensive.
Then there's another WoW graphic novel, Ashbringer, already got a few books out.
I also bought another Warcraft comic (Note: WoW graphic novel and Warcraft comic, difference) Sunwell Trilogies, the giant 3-in-1 one.
Then again, on the topic of difference. I would think the term Graphic Novels come from western culture. While comics (manga) would come from, more primarily the east, Japan.
Also the style of how the book is done.
I have a Halo graphic novel as well, it sure doesn't feel like a comic because of it's style, and how the story is. Graphic novels' stories would start in one book, and end in that one. Of course they'd have sequels and such. It's like watching a movie.
And comic books are like TV serials.
you guys are sure addicted to WoW

Cannot say that what. We are just interested in the creator's ideas and how they've conjured up so much history and lore.
It's like people who are interested in something, so they go and find out more. Cannot call it addiction what.
Addiction is smoking, no need to find out more, everyone knows the consequences.

It has an interesting storyline -_-"
I mean you can travel back in time in game and be part of 'history' too and what not
And fight beside Price Arthas before he became the Lich King and what not

Oh those I haven't buy yet, I might, but... I'm still finding the list of WoW books/novels/comics/graphic novels to date, so I can plan my purchases.
There are single novels, then there are compilations. All nice to have, but hurts less on the wallet if you get the compilation.
