went to the bak chor mee stall with zora for the bak chor mee Bourdain ate at and loved.. but the line was insane (i timed it at 34 minutes before i got to the front of the line) so we had the "western food" instead.. good stuff..
i had chicken kiev (nice chicken roll with ham and melted cheese inside) and zora had a spicy cajun chicken chop.. good stuff.. will post pics tonight

at river valley road, there is a good bak chor mee stall but the fellow takes 20 frikking minutes to make a bloody bowl of noodles. the saving grace is, the serving is huge, tastes good, and the fellow brings it to you. no need to self service. -

They should speed up so that people can finish their lunch and go back to the office within 1 hour.

oh yah.. that little kopitiam also has the original Lao Hokkien...
they used to make legendary kong bak pau which makes the westlake one seem like cardboard...
haven't eaten from them for about 8 years since they moved from the market around that area to the kopitiam

anyways, was reading the pap times today. someone wrote in to tekan the cheebye SMRT for trying to blame crowded trains on people bunching up near the doors and that the trains are not currently being "filled to capacity"

you can't always blame people for not moving all the way in. sometimes its fucking impossible to get out of the train if you do so, esp when its crowded, and esp since the train doors open and close on fixed timings. the writer went on to wonder just what the SMRT considers to be filled to capacity.

drama sis went ard telling ppl i scolded her...
she did a big booboo for the last few bills for my major client (despite the instructions i gave her)... went thru a big round of work to rectify them... now still ask me the most basic qns... she said she just wanna confirm cos she make mistake last time mah... i told her PRECISELY, wat u went thru, u should know wat to do by now wat...

i just sent a nice email to the tech %#%*& to ask why is it the PC upgrades for my section is still not here yet..
i sent in for an upgrade.. then the other sections asked me about it.. they sent in for an upgrade too.. they all got theirs a month ago and i'm still waiting for mine...

actually, when i was doing strategic research for my organisation long ago, my office was literally stocked with booze and food..iirc, i had a 2 bottles of jack daniel's, a bottle of cointreau, 2 bottles of red, 3 bottles of white, some assorted small bottles of sake, a bottle of mao tai and various cans of beer..
and also, 2 hamsters, 1 luohan and a Gameboy Advanced
