  Whilst at Tuas Naval Base, I met up with several of my batch boys who were posted to the MCVs and PVs, and chatted with them.

  I met one batch boy who was my bunk mate back when we were trainees. After the pleasantries, I was shocked to find out that he was posted out of ship (RSS Brave).

  Me: So how's life on Brave.

  Him: Dunno.....I'm no longer with Brave.

  Me: Why???

  Him: Bcos I'm a NSF.

  Me: Wtf, I'm also an NSF.

  Turns out NSF = Non-Sailing Force. Felt like whacking the daylights out of that bugger.

  Sad.....he kena slipped-disc during his tour with the PV, common injury on ship.

  but the Marina South area is look set to be back w/ human activities again

  cos in Dec, all e F&B outlets ceased operation

  It'll be pretty exciting and interesting to see what the Singapore waterfront will look like a couple of years from now.
