Anyone catch the news about the Qantas 747 that blew a hole in its fuselage at cruising altitude and experienced explosive decompression yesterday? The flight was en route from Hong Kong to Melbourne, and had to make an emergency landing at Manila.

a 2m x 4m hole in the fuselage... wonder what happened?

it still can be done, trust me .... last time when I was living in the student hovel, one little printer got networked to 2 XPs, one Mac, an a linux ....
you can create sharing folders easily between them too, and no, i'm not talking about msn shared folders ...

Boeing builds 'em tough! Remember that United 747 that lost an entire cargo door due to a faulty latch at cruising altitude over the Pacific? The place landed safely in Hawaii despite having a huge hole on the side of the fuselage that caused five passengers to be sucked out. -

because i have to bring my aunt to NUH at 8:30am...
dunno what time she'll be done seeing the doctor..
maybe i'll see about dropping her there then dropping off the UV lights, then going to pick her up again..

I'm just wondering why the news on TV here didn't cover that issue about the Quantas incident at all. I watched the local news, Sky News, for about 2.5 hrs late this morning and there was utterly no mention of it!
