  You know, I realised that my taste in men change as I mature.

  When I was much younger, I went for the so called 'bad boys' who played cool instruments like the saxaphone or electric guitar and played ice hockey and street hockey and did things like dirt bike racing (though I hate bikes :P)

  Then was one period when it was looks and as you grow older, I think you start to look for stability and looks start to take a secondary role where 'kan de shun yan' can liao (though I think MPB is pretty cute :P when we were dating )

  Seriously lor it's human to appreciate beautiful and good looking things or humans. As long as you look and appreciate and don't go beyond that, I think it's fine. I allow MPB to go on one to one 'dates' with his GFs too because I trust him not to break that trust

  well ... my taste in women has evolved too .....

  the "seh" becomes more important than looks .... maybe only the young ones need the ego booster of having a hottie draped on one arm ..... or maybe when you're older, you look beyond the superficial ....

  now I think, I rate an even temper to be the most important thing in a woman ....

  Here's my perspective: The white friends I've met and hung out with are generally very sporting and don't take themselves too seriously. They're open-minded and make you feel at home, and although some can be vocal and less inhibited, they encourage you to let your hair down. That's not to say that I haven't met pricks, of course.

  Then again, I don't think true-blue SPGs flock to exiles for the same reasons. I think, however, that if some of the local girls who are currently dating decent caucasians found the same qualities in another guy of any race, she'd like him too. I'm inclined to believe that discerning people do exist.
