  ....mabbe we shld scrape the quirky part. and just make it a gift exchange, i dont want suddenly have an extra "pet" courtesy of bear or a horror snack.

  Yeah, we went backpacking in NE Thailand in Nahkon Ratchasima (aka Korat)...just came back yesterday. I didn't think anyone would notice my absence.
