nah.. the freshly fried ones are actually pretty good..
these.. not that fresh, too little spice and salt.. intense flavour for the first couple, then it becomes way too overpowering... they've been consigned to the bin..

Today I flipped on the mrt...coz the driver did a very longgggg brrrraaaakkkkkeeeee! It was so long that I flopped over before I could stabilise myself and recover.
I fell leftwards onto an Indian middle-age man; SO felt a hand grabbing him and thot it was my hand, but it wasn't, coz I was too far to be able to grab hold of him, plus my right hand was grabbing onto the arm of the hand that grabbed him. Then, at the last second, I found one Ah Pek's hand grabbing onto my right arm which prevented me from falling flat onto the Indian man. It was quite hilarious actually. -

I had a big Boost mango smoothie and a Boost mango crushies. Special offer for Thursday (buy 1 and get another for only $1). I didn't have any lunch today as I came in late from going to the doctor. Nearly home time.... another hour to go...

I travelled across campus from the Engineering faculty to the Science library...
.... only to find out that the book I really, really wanted for my research had been loaned out!
And I've just checked the system... it seems that two other people have 'chopped' the book as well.
#$^%#... didn't realise that there would be other people interested in the mechanics of swimming fishes. -

have you seen or heard of groups of pple who team up to borrow the book the whole semester?
they borrow the book and make bookings so that you can get hold of it till like a few months later
