it is a traditional dessert like bobo cha cha but without coconut milk.Originally posted by jetta:That's new to me. I've never heard of ginger eaten as a desser that way. I'll let you treat me when I next visit.

I'm just dreading Friday when the customer comes down to the store and gives me a piece of his mind. *sigh* He has to reorder a stove that has the LP convertible kit and I'll have to give him 10% off for the inconvenience or something like that.Originally posted by Wanda:Oh yes, sometimes during class, you won't know what to ask, until a genuine "I didn't know" mistake happens. Would the customer be able to get an exchange for the stove, so that at least can placate him?
When was the last time you returned to Sg? I guess...if one is making a decent salary and not having to worry about money issues, then things here would still be considered bearable, and there are some nice things which we tend to take for granted (eg security and convenience). Why don't you take a break, come back here for a month or two before you decide?
Orh. I've had bobo cha cha but I don't know if I've had the one with the ginger in it. Hm.... *must call mum and ask*Originally posted by InnoHippo:it is a traditional dessert like bobo cha cha but without coconut milk.
Ya hor....your kids! I guess it may be the hardest for them to adjust, since they are the ones who haven't lived here long-term.Originally posted by jetta:I'm just dreading Friday when the customer comes down to the store and gives me a piece of his mind. *sigh* He has to reorder a stove that has the LP convertible kit and I'll have to give him 10% off for the inconvenience or something like that.
I was last back for a quick 9-day visit Dec 04. I just miss the security, food, etc. My kids were born there so passports are not an issue. The hubster likes Sg since we were stationed there for 3 years and have made many visits back. He himself has said that he would like to retire there. I know the kids will have adjustment issues and I will have no choice but to enrol them in the American school since they are a product of the US education system. A trial stay there would be the best thing to do, as you suggested.
I hope you get an appointment with him in the next couple of days. All the best honeymouse.Originally posted by honeymouse:Good morning/afternoon!!
Just got into the office..... went to the specialist this morning. The specialist has now referred me to a dermatologist. Sigh....

Thanks Jetta & Wanda. Thank God I did manage to make an appointment to see the dermatologist tomorrow afternoon. Otherwise I'd have to wait a long time especially the receptionist told me he is going away for a holiday.Originally posted by Wanda:Hi honeymouse. So when is the next appt? Specialist for infectious disease. He did manage to help me to clear up the infection from the tick..... unfortunately the first infection has given me/triggered a secondary dermatitis.Originally posted by Wanda:ps: What was the first specialist specialising in, then? I forgot.

Okay, now spill the details. I've waited far too long.Originally posted by fudgester:*me mysteriously appears in a puff of smoke*
I'll be (finally!) meeting my FYP prof later at 1pm. He just returned to Singapore late last week. Hope it goes well.
In other news, I made the mistake of walking past a Ramly Burger stall just now.
As a result, I'm now hungry, and my tummy is growling.
