How was work? Met any awful or awesome customers?
BTW, I reg for your forum liao. The funny thing was the registration din work when I used a yahoo.com email, and after several tries, I confirmed they'd only sent me the activation email after I entered a hotmail a/c.

Yah, I didn't know either until I had to take calcium daily. The cheapest and most dispensed variety, Calcium carbonate is the kind that makes you fart. So I had to ditch that and go with the next variety, Calcium Citrate. The only disadvantage is that you have to ingest a bigger pill, which I call a horsepill because it's so huge. When I first started on this variety, the only way I could swallow it was to halve it. After a couple of months, I got so sick and tired of swallowing twice, I started swallowing it whole. So proud of myself.Originally posted by bluejuice:

The only time I'll ingest ginger is when it's an ingredient in a dish. Or pickled and eaten with sushi. Other than that, no thank you.Originally posted by InnoHippo:for instant results, drink ginger tea
I have to take it twice a day. I used to take Calcium Orotate with has a 70+% absorbency but it lacks Vitamin D. I got tired of buying two different pills so I switched. The one I take now has Vitamin D. I really dislike having to to ingest pills.Originally posted by bluejuice:I take calcium alt days.. don't have the problem of farting though
Can't remember what calcium pill I am taking. But the pill's rather big..

Ho boh? Work was so-so today. As soon as our doors opened, I had two customers come in for problem resolutions. Haiz. A good thing they were easy problems to fix.
But a couple of hours later, my co-worker told me that one of my customers called yesterday (my day off) to complain about the stove he bought. Haiz. This problem isn't an easy one to fix. I'm not working tomorrow but I know for sure that this customer will be coming down to see me of Friday with a big piece of his mind.
Thanks for signing up with the cooking forum. Sorry about the registration headache. I don't know why that happened though. But of late, we have been having server problems. Be sure to pop in often k? We have a nice bunch of people on that forum.

why say like that??Originally posted by InnoHippo:no more pinky bear
This time it was my fault. The customer wanted a gas stove that is LP convertible. I now know that 2% of the market isn't outfitted with an LP convertible kit. So I'm going to have to placate the customer as best I can. *sigh* Whatever wasn't covered during my training, I had to learn on the job. But most times, how do you know what questions to ask until it's too late? Sigh, another one of those live and learn lessons.Originally posted by Wanda:*pat pat*
Eh...how come newly-sold products can be so problematic?
BTW, do you get fresh young ginger at your side? They're very fragrant and nice to eat with dumplings, or as a dip with black vinegar, or even on it's own, but not so pungent like old ginger. I always add it to my vege stir-fry.
That's new to me. I've never heard of ginger eaten as a desser that way. I'll let you treat me when I next visit.Originally posted by InnoHippo:ginger soup is excellent cold remedy
cook with tapioca and sweet potato ....... nice hot dessert
miss her presence mahOriginally posted by Wanda:why say like that??
Oh yes, sometimes during class, you won't know what to ask, until a genuine "I didn't know" mistake happens. Would the customer be able to get an exchange for the stove, so that at least can placate him?Originally posted by jetta:This time it was my fault. I can only get fresh ginger at the asian supermarket which is a 25 minute drive away. I'll try that next time. The only time I add fresh ginger is when I make chicken rice. Thanks Wanda! You know, lately I've been thinking about returning to Sg. I know many people want to leave the island but I'm tired of living in the States.
