  i dun go out of my way to buy stuff just becos GSS la. so far wat i bought are stuff i need or been wanting for the longest time. my only splurge was the BLUM dresses .

  Actually if a guy I didn't like gave me some 2000+ bag I would return it too

  Don setting up new household right.
  
  Heres a tip for the bedsheets.
  
  You will need a total of 4 sets.
  
  one to use, one for when you are changging for a wash. 3rd set for when there is a accident on your bed and 4th set as standby.
  
  Start with 3 sets. Retired a set per year.
  
  Avoid white colours cos they turn yellow or comes with yellow sports with age.
  
  When you get your mattress, always get the mattress protector on first. Doggie pee, sometimes even periods can seep thru the mattress protector and stain your bed when you dont realise it.
  
  Try to get a really hard bed. Cos when females are pregnant, the weight of the child will make you sink into a too soft a bed and your back will hurt real bad.
  
  Try go for 8 inch maximum bed, cos most fitted bedsheets are made with lessor then that height mattress in mind.
  
  European, australian & USA brands of bedsheets dont come with Bolsters covers cos its not their norm for a bolster.

  For those with set/permed hair. Silk pillowcases are more helpful to keep your hairstye.

  Talk about bedsheets. Each time we visit Sg, we'll come away with multiple sets. The hubster has a thing for bedsheets, who knew? I have to control the man. The last time we visited Sg, we had nine sets. Do you know how heavy nine sets of bedsheets are?????
  
  I love Egyptian or Supima cotton, the higher the threadcount the better. My most sinful purchase was at Robbingsome. I'm embarassed to say that I spent $500 on a complete set of sheets - flat sheet, fitted sheet, duvet cover, bolster and pillow cases.

  Have you ever slept on silk sheets before? I don't like it. It's not as smooth as you think. I tend to run on the cold side. I was shivering sleeping on silk sheets.

  LOL, Singapore, not so bad. I have a normal blanket over the silk covers.

  I used to work at Robinsons writing their ad copy and I have to thank their bedlinens buyer for educating me on the finer points of selecting bedsheets.

  Tolietries also cheaper there. Even if you buy from Watsons.
  
  For females, there use to be problems for females to get clothing, but ndergarments are no issue cos the gals there are small in size, though all those big size b-r-as are always a good steal.

  There is a way to store bedsheets too.
  
  Something about folding them into corners and you will eventually end up with a triangle package of your fitted bedsheets.
  
  And always try to put all the sets into a pillowcase, so its easy to identify the sets and take out for use.
  
  I still have my old king size comforter, been planning to use it one day to lay down a big bike and practise how to lift it up from the floors.
