at least my friend who tried the whatever had the honey lemon which was good.
but its sad to see that so many old folks have to resort to this, where the fcuk is that "raise gst to help the poor"..
say what give freebies makes ppl lazy, this people should be retired.

I still rage at thinking of the New Paper story of this GP who abandoned his own mother just because his wife looked down on her for working in a 'dirty profession' (ie. cleaner). -

Oh yes. I think birth pills work most effectively for females with a regular 28 days cycle. Sometimes certain medication like some antibiotics that you take can affect the effectiveness of the pill too.Originally posted by tare:issit?

I know it's too late for the Jive Pad to be open, but just wanna say this : elindra, I think that it's a really good thing that you're frank and open about discussing your fears about having a kid because too many people have children when they aren't ready or aren't fit to be parents yet and in the end, everyone, including the poor kids, suffer.
I grew up a latchkey kid. When I was younger, grandma and grandpa looked after me. Honestly, because I was a terribly ultra sensitive kid, it was hell because I was always torn between my parents and my grandparents. I was also dismayed that mom couldn't be around most of the time cause she was a working mom and when she got home after work, she would sometimes not be in the best of moods nor would she be patient enough. Dad too, oh boy, did he have residual anger issues brought home from the workplace!
Till today, even though I don't want to think about it, some things still inadvertently stay with me. That's one of the huge reasons I choose not to have kids because what if they turned out to be as sensitive as I was? It's hard enough raising a kiddo, but when that kiddo is a sensitive one, man, it'll drive you crazy!
I shudder when I think of unfit couples raising children. So I really applaud you for thinking things through and being honest. -
my standard line: you have to take a test to see if you are fit to be a pet owner if you want to adopt from the SPCA but any inbred irresponsible can be a parent

everything comes with abit of getting used to it. maybe i didn't think that much ahead but kids come with joy and stress too. this is the feeling like : the pain you feel when your child suffer and the joy of them telling you "because I love you". everything will not follow as planned or per the "script". let things just come by and enjoy every moment of it. -
am in 'running on empty' mode..
but have to do a writeup and a meeting update later..
oh well.. -
