i think the thing with brats is that when they grow up, u actually realize it was quite rewarding when they grow up.
and more fun too, rather then a guai baby who only sleeps and doesn't bother you.
of course not the spoilt brats la.. but i prefer naughty playful ones. -

Yeah Mr Pinky Bear knew I don't like kids before we were married
I guess he thinks he can make me change my mind or an accident happens
Just don't let others put you off having kids. I think the only thing that helps kids not to become a brat etc is to spend lots of family time with them. Sadly nowadays parents only know how to give kids $$ to compensate the time they don't get to spend with them and leave the kids to the teachers/nanny to discipline.
If you believe you are going to have kids one day (regardless you are not that keen), perhaps try to prepare yourself mentally from now until you're ready. Some people just take sometime to get used to the idea of having kids and will eventually come to accept it.
I am sure you'll definitely react differently once you see your own kids. Of course as I mentioned many times, you just need to be ready first.

Yeah I'm trying to prepare myself mentally coz I don't think I can put it off longer
Family time is something we don't have
Heck I only see my SO like 3 times a week coz I'm off the work then he comes home and vice versa coz of his shift. It works out fine too coz I like to have my free time as well. -

But I don't think we are going to have kids for another 2 years. Probably because we want to do something else first (to get an investment property).... Anyway, we will need to sort things out first to see if it's indeed feasible for us to do that.
I think there is something you and Mr Pinky bear need to sit down and talk about - how to make time for the kids and the way you want to bring up the kids. Family time is really really very important. -
