I think the problem is that I never viewed kids as blessings or think that they will bring happiness.
I think for me to want to have kids, Chris will somehow have to convince me that they are not a liability of time and resources

at 2 to 3pm i'm going to go through the stupid video with the boss again.. i still think she has been promoted beyond her capabilities.. she harps on minor and inconsequential details and usually forgets the purpose of the project...
everything has to be "accurate" when it is actually a figment of her delusion...
i think it has to be from her training from the other camp of the merger... the side where i came from, we were too busy doing the important things and letting the details sort themselves out... while her side, nothing was more important than the details because their jobscope wasn't that wide... -

I didn't get to meet his kiddo when I met them, so I can't comment. I wanted to get something for his kid from Victoria St before I met them but I was almost late so I couldn't do that. -

Kids grow up, get married, have their own lives, and these days, what with the 'low inflation rate' or so the govt claims, it's not that easy for them to afford an education and get married and pay off their housing and car loans and have their own kids.
It's really selfish to have kids, expecting them to spend the rest of their lives tending to one in one's old age. The kids are humans with their own lives and future, not insurance! -

Having kids is no more like an insurance I can say
With the high cost of living, even I personally doubt if they would be able to support themselves not to say supporting me when I grow old -

The headache the gov have now is that alot of married couples think like I do.
You slave for the kids and need to lead a more modest lifestyle instead of all the resturants and holidays and on top of that additional worries and stress and come to the conclusion that they are better off without kids. -
