  migraine is caused by the dilation of blood vessels in the brain, causing pressure to build up..
  
  to decrease migraine by reducing the pressure, drink a gallon of coffee... the stimulant will constrict your blood vessels... easing the pressure..

  nay they help. i have tried it. but then i guess it depends on what type of headache you have too. if you ahve a headache cos of dehydration..............

  I usually take the one for Cold
  
  For so far have not tried the one that needs to be taken in liquid form, as in dissolved in hot water

  panadol = 500mg

  Yup! And some of the best migraine medication are caffeine-based!
  
  The side effect, of course, is insomnia! Often, patients who are on these medication will have sleeping pills prescribed as well.

  Bear's right, 500 mg is the 'normal' dose of one pill. For good effect, one is not enough, take two, ie. 1 gm of Panadol. That's the recommended dosage, according to Doctors and Pharmacists (and nurses ).

  If the blocked nose is due to the flu or a bad cold, it's not so bad. But if it's due to sinusitis, you'll need to go see a GP for some nasal spray. I think it's called "Flixonase" or something like that.
