Moisturisers - do they really make a difference?

  I use Nivea for Men Mosturising Lotion.
  
  I need it cos I use a lot of 2.5% benzoyl peroxide in my acne treatment regimen.
  
  With that much benzoyl peroxide, I need to prevent my skin from drying out.

  I noticed that av, like most typical Singaporean boys. Dont take care of his skins.
  
  Can I suggest you gals lay some attention on him and make him shine with his heart then his face?

  1st night in California winter and I am having troubles.

  I love chanel precision hydramax. 120 for a jar but well worth it . My skin don't dry up as quickly as before.

  Personally, I cannot imagine life without my moisturizers.
  
  The habit started when i was in brisbane, where the air is so dry my lips would bleed. I would use mositurizer for face, body, feet, hands, cuticles and lip balm for lips la. before i sleep i would slap on body butter and wear socks to keep the moisturizer in. those where the days when my skin looked its best - glowing and smooth

  They are actually very important things. 1 hour without it on my face and i would feel very uneasy. Iam currently using Nuskin Clear action for my face and my hands iam using some Body shop almond oil handcream.

  was just now keeping watch of my neice at the home staircase, was scratching my feet...didnt realised it now look so scaly!

  Try water-based, non-oil ones. Neutrogena is good, and doesn't clog pores, and comes with SPF 15 option too.

  You should be considering more of those mattifying moisturing lotions for the face, especially if you are trying to stop the oil from transferring from your face to the camera.

  Now if Mrs Av can give you a facial and teaches you how to use the cleanser, toner & the moisturiser properly. I would expect a much oil free Av soon.

  Bioterm & L'oreal now has fairly nice men's skin range of products.
  
  Bodyshop too, but I find all of them above a tad expensive.

  Dont just go yourself, go with a gal that will help to monitor how you use those products. Someone thats can fuss over you.
  
  Or pick the bioterm/Loreal counters with the pretty counter gals to show you how to wash your face, tone & apply moisturisers.

  The creme moisturisers arent working well for my skins.
  
  I finally fall back on using the Johnson & johnson Baby Oil to keep the skins from drying out.
