Moisturisers - do they really make a difference?

  Does it help if we mositurise our face frequently with water? I do that often to rid the sleepy bugs. I guess I am a marketer's nightmare

  In Singapore, I was often lazy at the thought of moisturising (body, I mean... I moisturise da face religiously even when I was in SG).
  
  I mean, it's so hot and humid that after a shower, you sometimes start to sweat liao! And so, forget about slathering on moisturisers afterwards.
  
  But here, it really does your skin a world of good and I daren't be lazy about it!

  Totally. So now, I've become one of those people slathering on cream just before turning in. The hand especially take a beating what with doing the dishes and other chores. Took me a while to find a moisturizer that not only moisturises but heals. Now that I've found it, I swear by Vaseline Deep Moisture Creamy Formula.

  Oh...Need to mention. the 1st week in USA. both hands has lots of peeling skins, dunno why

  California? Not sure, but dry enough.
  
  Seattle, raining but its cold, I guess I cant feel the humidity that much. Very very fresh air though. Not stuffy like SIngapore.

  Moisturisers do make a difference. Many a times, when I am too lazy to apply at night before I sleep (thinking that my naturally skin oil should be enough), I will end up having crack skin around my lips for a few days.

  I think moisturisers is sometimes a necessity in temperate zones...unless you want cracked skin on your hands - you won't know you have cracked skin until you take a shower.
  
  Of course, moisturisers help to keep skin look younger and supple longer.

  Don't worry, jetta! These days, I don't step out of the house before slathering on moisturiser all over, followed by an SPF30 Sublock, certified by the Aussie Cancer Ctr or something.
  
  I even carry a tube in my bag, in case I need to 'touch-up' again!

  Here, before I sleep, I put on a layer of 100% Vit C Serum on my face followed by a thick coat of night cream, then there's that intensive moisturising lip gloss on da lips, then there's the hand cream and sometimes, if I can still stay awake after all that, the foot cream.
