  funnily, talking about food
  
  i realised most of my urban Singaporean friends dont really eat yam, sweet potatoes, tapioca etc
  
  i mean they only eat it in narrow terms, such as roasted sweet potatoes, but refuses a bowl of nice burbur cha cha
  
  but of course, most eat potatoes..in forms of french fries and mashed potatoes

  My sweet potatoes in porridge, in sweet soup, in bubor cha cha and w green bean souppppp and roast/BBQ~ and... deep fried also likeeee

  in some parts of africa, tapioca is a staple.. they're the greatest runners in the world

  HOW can you give up Pomeloo... it'so juicy so wonderful...
  
  I think you need to learn a new way to eat leh, a complete re-education. Find some way to turn off the brain when eating, just run the basic functions - start with identifying (is it food? ) , figuring out how to eat it (e.g. remove shell ), the act of consumption itself and the mental process stops around there.
  
  And quickly before you run out of food to eat!

  Perhaps I should eat some of those foods because my 3rd leg is getting overly excitable due to lack of use.

  I like Yam though but it must be made into 'Or Nee' then I'll eat and yes I only eat roasted sweet potatoes and I won't even touch tapioca. I like sweet potato ice-cream and sweet potato in savoury soups or stews but I won't have it any other way.
  
  I don't like to eat bur bur cha cha. Never liked it before and I don't like Ice Kachang either Actually I don't like alot of local desserts which have coconut milk in it.

  thing is.. i hate the skin of each section and spend way too much time getting it off

  I just dont LOOK at it.. or.. if i need to.. i take quick glimpses, then let my fingers do the work while i concentrate on tv and try not to gag
  
  but the taste is worth it
  
  Its like my family knows when I am taking my lotus root peanut soup.. halfway through if I screech and push the bowl towards them... they got to remove tt offending lotus root or the peanut inside it. They think its funny cos they can actually see my goose pimples when tt happens.
