Do you think woman boss are lousy? Why or why not?

Only women who know how to work like men are good.
Those who dunno how to show leadership, but want to geh kiang and act totally like what I call "Control Freaks" should just stay at home and give birth. What do you think? -
i agree. that was what my former GM was like. she lost her job after 1 year.
she tried too hard to prove that she could do anything that a male GM can do. -
Woman boss very garang and dare to make decision. Look at various women CEO around the world. Good example.

Precisely. This kind usually like to yell at the staff. They think this is called leadership. I have met one lady director working for NUH and then trsf to TTSH. She one year change dunno how many staff, but she doesn't know she has got problem. All those yelling woman boss (I call them all CMI) should learn that yelling doesn't earn them respect. It makes them look like a dog.

While there are some (very few in fact) who work like men -- very straight to the point and focus one, most woman boss only know how to micro manage things. They like to comment things for the sake of commenting.

well, i would say that some are like that, but some let you do whatever so long as it's done..
as for male bosses, i've got one in my organisation that has stabbed everyone in the back... so badly that i would say that if he was run over by a truck, there'd be no skid marks before his rotting carcass... -

-cough- the worst boss i've ever met micromanages, bullies, patronises people, demanding, disrespectful of your social life, distrustful, hold grudges, neurotic, rambles on FOREVER, NEVER goes straight to the point etc etc.
Is a VERY masculine MALE who used to be in the army.
Ever since then I've had female bosses that everyone else complains about, and I've never had problems with them. -

well, there are all kinds of terrible people of both genders in my organisation.. including one dude who has climbed so high by NOT making any decisions whatsoever...
then there is this lady who is decisive, generous, kind and firm in a very high place...
i guess no gender holds a monopoly over the stereotyped traits of "woman boss" or "man boss"

i had a boss who is thankfully retired now.. he looks like the pointy-haired boss of Dilbert and is about as knowledgeable and ethical as that character too...
he loved to micromanage.. even when he didn't know his arse from his elbow..
