Crocs! Love 'em or hate 'em

Just wondering who actually owns a pair of Crocs. Seriously I think lookswise they suck but in terms of comfort and fun factor they rank tops in my books, and I love all the colours they have.

They kinda resemble scrub shoes, y'know! And yeah, in the looks factor, they kinda ... are lacking!
I think when guys see me, they see this pair of shoes... comfy but not too exciting!
And oh, I've just realised that I can finally buy nice shoes here cause they have my size!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
And man, have you watched Sex & The City? Carrie and her Manolo Blahniks! -

I mean I started leaving a pair of Birkens in my office so that I can remove my heels coz my chiropractor have been nagging ang nagging at me to wear healthier shoes

I think basically because they are comfortable
I know they don't look comfortable but they are.
You need to try them on to know that
Also there are so many 'pirated' Crocs spawning lately
The only other reason I can think of is that kids like the bright colours and daddy and mummy buy something to wear with the kids -

I see lots of Crocs & fake crocs.. chicken rice hawker also wearing it.. taxi driver wearing it.. looks like PCK frm afar..
For comfort ok la.. but muz match your outfit also ma...

more and more uncles and aunties wearing crocs. -
footwear for me, has to be very comfortable and lasting. because i wear them to school like 4-5 days a week.

When I see Elindra's nick and I see Crocs..... I thought this thread gonna be another wildlife animal thread leh....
I think they are cute but I am worried they dont support my flatfootedness enough, plus are they REALLY airy? I have sweaty feet and all.... (erm is this too much info?) so if I wear covered shoes, I MUST wear socks.
And if I dont, my favourite is those $2 foam flipflops with... 'massagey' textured base.. i dont like smooth based flipflips.. MUST have massagey textured base then can.
