What puts a smile on your face?

i was looking around.. and thinking about some stuff..
i find that i actually have a silly grin on my face a lot!
i see a little baby, a newborn, asleep in a pram or in the mother's arms, i find my brow relaxing a lot and a silly grin on my face..
or when i see a baby, looking around, sees me, and i make a funny face and he smiles or laugh, i have a silly grin on my face again
then things around me, i see a squirrel running around at the park, a sparrow collecting blades of dry grass to build a nest, mother cat cleaning her kitten..
yesterday, when i was volunteered to look after the brats, bringing them to the cinema, stopping at the concession stand to buy snacks and their enthusiasm and during Over The Hedge, their squealing with laughter..
walking around after the movie while waiting for their folks to collect them, their looking at the toys in the toy shop and proclaiming that the toys look nice and wanting to save money to one day buy the big toy..
it was a good day spent
such simple pleasures.. sometimes we, in our rush, overlook them...
there is more to life than just adding speed to it
we do miss the simplest and greatest pleasures in life sometimes...
do you stop and have a goofy grin on your face sometimes? what are the simple pleasures in your life that bring that silly smile on your face? -

hurhurhur when i scold my students and they look at me with that scared but hopeful(hope she dont send me to corner) expression.. I wanna laugh leh
it was a long post.. but i realise ONE thing tt does
nt put a smile on my face is when my cat decides to play with my mouse while I am typing.. and somehow erased the rest of the post.

Its so weird but yeah i've said it before... babies just don't do it for me. fresh donuts....
sushi....
squirrel eating a durian(I've seen this. I still have no clue how the *&^% the squirrel opened the durian)
bugs mating
etc etc -
i like to think wat funny here and i juz smile ...
ppl always ask me wat i smiling at ..... -
it all starts with a happy thought

Squirrel dont open leh! They bite through the durian! I see before the durian got hole at the side cos they chew through it -
when i pat mao mao and they meow and cuddle up to me
when i get home from anywhere and i cuddle my bolster
when a girl says hi to me

I think it will be different. I don't feel for babies too and yes I think of them as wrinkly things as well
Just went to my friend's baby girl's 1st month celebration on Sunday. I was like...ok it's so red and wrinkly still and when he said," Wanna carry her?" I was like .
I don't know how to carry a baby and I don't dare to touch on coz they look so fragile so I mumbled an excuse and scooted off to join another friend who went over to log on WoW -

Yaloh!!!!! I get so freaked out if I need to carry babies.. actually I havent carried any that I can remember before... so freeeakkkyyy!!!!!

My brother was joking that if I have a kid, I'll be avoiding it coz I don't even dare to touch babies Actually I don't even know how to play with my 1 year old niece I'm hopeless when it comes to kids. Like I said, maybe it will be different if it's my own coz you really don't have a choice too
Kittens are sooo cute but they look so fragile too that I'm afraid that I will hurt them. I have no problems carrying puppies too. It's funny coz I never had problems carrying my pet frog around before in the past -
no lehh hehee kittens are so much more stronger than babiesssss...

I didnt know they renovated the second floor -
i'm going there again tomorrow.. the thing i bought didn't work.. the guy there is now paranoid and is testing each one before accepting them
