I knoe this song. It is typical Rahmanish particularly the starting and all the beat, bells, and jingles
Hes a psuedo - composer which literally means he "champo" different time trends & types from the 80, 90s to latest to make a song. dont believe it listen carefully and you can find out what i meant, AR. had basically conquered every music trend & type in the world
But i think this is chinese CD. I bet you dont know what you are missing. There are over more than 500 AR Indian songs out there and i listening for decade + .
some older ones in Indian are extraordinary. Tis song is typical but not extraordinary.
you see, in certain years , AR. has a few CDs which sell really well and go on to set highest sales especially in 1994 , 95 and 96
Though this song is of some significance , nobody talked abt it ... .I was amaazed myself, * oh me # rahman makes a chinese song and it is so darn convincing. -

It will sound strange his songs. at first, but man times afer u listen it become bliss. Some of his music types are not heard anywhere else in the world which make it unique, because either the beats or loops are not used by anyone eles, or he made it himself.
3D surround quality is top attribute of his songs., just envelopes our ears If u have good audio system, the music will turn out to be outstanding. trust me , many high end system uses his music to test -
His music sound different in differnt audio setups, but mostly good even those low quality PC speakers.
If you use Grado headphones or those high ex European made speakers, you will hear his music as he intended it to be. I am having Grado headphones, the finest out there...
Can heard sounds never heard before. clear mid bass , treble. -
loved the movie but never liked the song, in fact its one of the few songs which i remembered with dislike, firstly i don't like the music,secondly it doesn't help that her singing doesn't really make me think its a great song

how may times u listened to the song? listen it a few more times , few weeks or few mnths later, you will find tat it improves wih every listening. You will also find tat there is a new sound hidden somewhere in the music each time u listen. This are the classic atrributes of AR songs (low frequency sounds which takes the ear to get accustomed to). You will start to love it along the way. FTI, The director of the movie approached AR. to do the music because he was impressed with his stuff.
And a few more chinese movie offers from Hong Kong came along AR.'s way ( he stated in an interview) but he declined due to time constrain. Anyway AR. hinted he will attempt another Chinese songs like this in the future. -
