If so did the real price of our crude oil import really increased and thus needing us to pay more for transport and petrol pump price.PAP is always just telling us the nominal value of crude oil increasing but not the real price increase when adjusted for currency rates changing -

Before election, they give you PP, after election they take back the PP...by means of your daily expenses.....transport fares, GST, ciggy prices, COE,milk podwers,pampers, etc... -
Today I took bus 700 from Bukit Panjang.
The !$#@%!$! air con was not working and the weather was so !$#!@#%^ hot.
They claimed that services was improving.....
#@$^%@^ them .
Pay so much but get so !%@& lousy service.
Like that can claim from who?? -
I've been complaining so much about the MRT service in the Jive pad, I'm too lazy to type it all out again
I can only say....

The problem is more of the greed of the transport company.Their never ending demands for higher or at least maintained profit year after year.They already earn so much yet still want to increase year after year,whatever happened to so call Public transport,public transport should fall under public goods,that is goods produced for the utilisation of the public not for a profit point of view. -
Ok... I haven't been living in Singapore for the past 2 yrs to take the public transport that regularly, but what I can say is...
in every country & city, no matter where, you will still find people complaining about their public transport system.
When I was in Singapore, I'd complain about the buses & MRT - not efficient enough, too many people on board, too expensive, yada-yada-yada
When I came over to Australia, my oh my, the horrors of the public transport system over here in Sydney!
Peak hour trains come every 20 mins, off peak period trains can take up to an hour to arrive. Added to that, the trains are really old (and I mean, like 20 y.o. for some of them!), non-air conditioned for some of them, and soooo crowded. And the expense! Wahh... costs me A$36 per week just to travel from my place to city & back! Buses can be even more expensive 
Eh... so the point I'm trying to make is, that you have to experience life in a different city to know that Sg public transport system & its costs aren't really that bad lah.. to me, anyway.

should not the public know what goes on with the high turn over of the various transport companies in question?
their turnover nett profit are in the tune of millions per year?
public housing is under fire about the high prices and lack of transparency, time for public services to COME CLEAN?
