Hey gals/guys
Im sure we've been to weddings that have left us 'not so' lasting impressons. maybe somethng bad happened, or the food was horrible, or colour cordination owas bad, or bad choice of songs, dress etc.
lets share!
Pls refrain from naming specifics though.. eg: the bridal shop, the location of banquet .. u know wad i mean.
just share stories.
Worse wedding I been to was a restaurant banquet thats not very upmarket one.. but thts ok. the food was ok. here's the bad part..
music selection of the nite - TV screens with karaoke music of chinese pop songs. (very unromantic!)
restaurant door gift - no chocolates or fruit cake. but..... 2 SUGAS sweets. -
the weddings i've been to have been pretty good.
the last one i went to, father in law was such a good singer!! Who needs an entertainer man? -
i tout every wedding dinner there will be at least one entertainer to entertain all their guest -
Worse wedding dinner I went to.......
1. The serving spoon slid into the dish filled with gravy and the waiter just put his fingers into the gravy to pick up the spoon
2. Overheard one waiter telling another to hurry up and clear the plates as they need to recycle them as they are running out of plates.
Needless to say, I lost my appetite. -
At one of the Community Centre's Multi Purpose Hall, the host engaged the actual performers from the lunar 7th month "ge tai".
Worst part is that my table is pretty near the stage......as if I'm one of the "brothers" aka "Hao Siong Di".
