Superstar Sam Hui disclosed during the last show of his popular comeback concert series on Sunday that she is now his goddaughter.
She was one of his guest stars on Sunday and as she sang the song, Father's Piano, a clip of the tea ceremony where he accepted her as his goddaughter was shown on a screen.
Sing Tao Daily said that during his concerts, he had taken to calling guest stars 'godson' or 'goddaughter'. But Leung was the only one who actually got to be his goddaughter.
On Sunday, in a show of kinship, he even referred to her as his 'darling goddaughter'.
After 12 years of retirement, he came back with a bang with a series of 26 shows from June 5 to Sunday.
The final concert ended at 12.50am, surpassing his previous time of 12.43am, because he performed an 11-song encore.
He would have gone on longer if not for the fact that the next day was a Monday, said his promoter.
