SynopsisFamous martial arts novels writer Lung Fei-ngan (played by Michael Hui) havenÂ’t published any new books in a decade. Sophia has reached a suitable age for marriage. But she has no luck at all looking for a husband. She does not give up. She continues to search for her Prince Charming bearing her father’s advice in mind: "women is like a mobile phone – never let the man try it out unless he intends to buy it!" At the same time, she has a crush on Frankie Yam (played by Lau Ching-wan), her boss and a playboy.
Due to some accident, Frankie decides to stay at Sophia’s home for a while. Ngan used to hate Frankie for treating Sophia like his servant. But when Ngan finds out that Frankie has a pool of female models he can call to join in his parties, he treats Frankie as his buddy. Ngan even says how men should "treat women as mobile phones – try them out as much as you can and never be so stupid to buy it!" This is his real motto. He has been using this attitude to treat Barbara (played by Kam Yin-ling), his girlfriend for 13 years.
Then, Sophia and the bad guy Frankie developed as lovers and are planning to get married! Ngan is desperate. He loves his daughter so much that he knows he must get rid of this Frankie guy. He must destroy their love completely before it is too late. Sophia must make a life and death decision between Frankie and her father
