Interesting, apparently its quite a BUZZ in China, but nobody gives a hoot here?

The Chinese are pretty dulan about it and started to gong a lot of jiao wei about Gong Li. However, a larger group of them felt that it was her personal choice that should be respected.
Looks like Singapore might be an even more popular place for Chinese to migrate to.

You see, she was grown by the Chinese, and then now come here to pay taxes. We gain wad, jian dao pian yee.

Actually, shouldn't be too hard wad... Our National Anthem is very similar to PRC's one. Different language, different tune, but same theme. "Onward!"

I don't really mind if gong li becomes an sg-rean. It's not as if she represents sg internationally like those ping pong cheenas who came here for money. Furthermore, she married an sg-rean for so long that now she change her citizenship.
