I think Channel 8 have been infested with lousy scripts and lousy actors for the past few years since Ah Guang left.
Dun really have any good actors that can replaced Ah Guang.
But, his departure have provided veterans like Ah Ping to shine.
Sad to say, the company did not provide the young actors any proper acting lessons.
That is why most of them cannot make it.
As for the Elwin guy, I believe he must be some rich man's son that is why he have a SUV to crash the other time.
For the Golden Path, although the storyline is more of a rojak of a typical HK drama (sibling conflict, cancer gal, love triangle, strong MAMA), the credits should be given to the guy or lady that pick the cast.
Cos they have made a RIGHT choice in using more of the veteran than the greenie.
The drama was well carried with actors like Ah Shui. (At least we dun have another dad that like to forced his mind upon his gal - typical stereoytpe dad for the last three 9 pm drama)
Credits to the veteran actors - Ah Shui, Ah Xing, Ah Hai, Ah Xin, Ah Ching, Ah Meng
As for Ah Ping, I think she seems to be young to carry the heavy responsibility of the STRONG MAMA role.
Hope she can impress with the coming episode.
For the Siblings II, a stupid show with aunties shouting at each other. -

maybe they should focus more on nanxing's past or something -
