earlier, xiaogu met jin long's dad, ah jin (also starred by li nan xing). both developed feelings for each other and he married xiaogu.
sadly, he shot himself on the big day.
xiaogu had promised ah jin to take care of both jin long (li nanxing) and jin feng (joey).
so now both jin long and jin feng are being brought up by xiaogu. they grew up with her own kids. -

pinghui is so so only as he only act as cool guy, no breakthough in my opinion.
