  I've just watched it, and some good characters died in the movie...not gonna say who just in case i spoil it for you guys....small twist at the ending...think maybe there might be an X-Men 4 coming up...

  I think it's lame. At first I thought the guy with wings is the star, but it turned out that there isn't a single main character in the movie

  yeah, and quite sad that many of the main characters in X1 & 2 are only small small casts in this movie. And the movie is so short, not even 2 hrs!

  Fox studio had already announced more movies for X-Men to be coming up. But why do newspapers all say X-Men-LS is the final movie? Heres why...
  
  Fox Films Entertainment Chairman Tom Rothman said The Last Stand is the end of a trilogy, but not necessarily the end of the X-Men film series: "These three movies work as a trilogy. These characters in this relationship, it's the culmination of that saga. It's the culmination and the resolution of those relationships laid out in the first two movies." In a December 2005 interview, Brett Ratner echoed Rothman's comments: "We wanted to make sure the audiences knew that this was a trilogy. Even though they weren't made together like Lord of the Rings, this is really closure for the X-Men series...This is the last stand for sure.
