Unusual Happenings at Seletar Airport (XSP)

  earlier, (about 9.15pm ++) i cycled to Seletar Airport (XSP).
  a small passenger plane (those 8 seaters type) was having its engine on at full blast, like preparing for take off. then after a while the engine died down, presembly switched off, and after a minute or so, it revved up to the roaring sound just like it had started.
  anyone any idea whats going on?

  Engine testing? They do it for planes at PLAB sometimes at night too.
