Andriy Voronin almost puts Liverpool ahead with a strike from 19 yards but Maik Taylor makes a good save low down. Ryan Babel is replaced by Fernando Torres. The Reds have 30 minutes to muster a goal.

Ah Ben can prepared to be sacked.
If Liverpool cannot even beat Blues or Porty, they can forget about the title.
They cannot even play as a team tonight.
Time to play the best 12, stick to it till they know each other well.

Aiyo ... why talk about sack when the season just started , can u name a better candidate than Rafa that can give us the title within a season , guarantee one ?
Then what the sacking all about ?

Each team that came to Anfield , they prepared for the whole week , not thinking about scoring winning goals , but how to defend , mass defend !
We saw Derby who came right at us and kena half a dozen from us , every team now knew what Liverpool is made of ... so they came with a plan , not scoring , defending .
That the only solution to stop Liverpool .
4 in the front of the usual 4 back line , with a solo striker to hold the ball .
Once we got hold of the ball , 8 came back into a defensive wall .
How to score when one team only interested about how to play negative ?
We created alot of chances , Birmingham kept very tight at the back .

Rafa tinkering ?
Well .... when we tinker and get a result , we praised his tinker-ment , but when he failed to win , than many will doubt his tinkering ...
So there were a say , a cup half filled , or half empty ?
Different results has got different view .
Tinkering will be good in terms of the whole season .... u'll see when the likes of Arsenal , MU and Chelsea got themself fatigue by December . -

When Chelsea's John Terry got injured .... Chelsea leaked goals like a leaked pipe .
When Cech got that head-injury , teams scored abit more against Chelsea .
When Lampard got injured , Chelsea lack his winning goals ....
When Drogba got injured , Chelsea cannot win games !
Again if Mourinho tinkered a bit , and play more fringe players , their result would not be that bad . -

Liverpool have acquired lots of players at the beginning of the seaon.
Most of the players have no experience in the EPL.
So, I am not expecting them to adapt the english style of play immedicately.
But, we MUST at least have a best twelve players that can provide us a breakthrough to teams that are bent on defending.
Or else we can never ovecome team like Blues and Portsmouth that deployed the 5-4-1 tactics.
This have been Liverpool's problem for the past three seasons.
As for who to employ if Ah Ben is sacked, Jose is availiable and have proven record of bringing the EPL title for Chelsea.
It would be interesting to see what Jose can do with the presen Liverpool squad. -

Be patient. When a team has an influx of new players they'll need time to gel with each other.
