DUDEK: RAFA WILL WIN PREMIERSHIP
Jerzy Dudek believes Rafa Benitez will soon end Liverpool's tortuous wait to win the Premiership.
Dudek claims the current Reds squad is the best he's been a part of during his five years on Merseyside. And he reckons it's only one or two players shy of being a championship-winning outfit.
"We are all happy with the way we have played in the Premiership in the second half of the season and I feel we are not too far away from winning it," the Pole told LFC Magazine.
"Rafa knows what he has to do to take the club across the finishing line. If he is able to bring in quality players in the summer in one or two key positions, then we will be very close next season.
"If it doesn't happen next year, then the Premiership will be at Liverpool soon."
Despite his confidence that the league title will soon be coming home, Dudek is one man who won't be around to enjoy it.
The 34-year-old will move on in the summer in a bid to get regular first-team football – a decision he has made with a heavy heart.
"It makes me a little sad that I won't be here on the pitch to enjoy a title success but I will be watching from wherever I am. I will be as happy as any supporter from the Kop," he said.
Meanwhile, Dudek also spoke of his admiration for the man who has taken his place as Liverpool number one.
He said: "Everything Pepe Reina does he does well. He does things in a way that gives confidence to the rest of the team.
"He will come for crosses all the time in certain areas, which takes the pressure off the defence, and his distribution of the ball is better than some midfielders. He can launch the quickest counter-attacks in the Premiership.
"Since he has come here we have always done well – and the two things are not a coincidence." -

i think Rafa will get rid of injury-prone Kewell , cos i think his plan is to have 2 good players , 2 fit players on each position , to be ready when needed ! Kewell cannot guarantee to be fit for the whole season .
With the departure of Dudek , i think Scott Carson will be back as No.2 to Reina !
Zenden could be going out as well , Robbie Fowler too .
In comes Voronin !
I suspect Simao to be in Liverpool next season .
The problem with us , we have only got Mark Gonzales on the left this season , which he doesnnot create much impact , so with the inclusion of Simao , we have got 2 good left wingers ......
On our right , i suspect we will have one more in , besides Pennant .
D.Cisse and Fowler to go , so i think we will get one more striker !

Liverpool have offered Djibril Cisse to Benfica as part of a swap deal to lure away long-time target Simao Sabrosa.
The Reds have twice failed to land the Portuguese winger but Rafael Benitez is planning another assault on the Lisbon giants, who are resigned to losing their star man in the summer.
Benfica are reported in newspaper 'Diário de NotÃcias' to have quoted Liverpool £14million for the 27-year-old but are likely to settle for less, particularly with former Anfield flop Cisse as a makeweight in the deal.
The French forward has had an indifferent season at Marseille and may be tempted to rekindle his career in Portugal with Benfica guaranteed to be in the Champions League next season. -
