Should England recall David Beckham ?

Under last night circumstances , England should recall Becks back into the squad , at least if not first team , at least an urgent substitution ....
I thougth England missed some precise cross into the centre .
And England rarely threatened from corners and set-pieces .
England make it into World Cup with Beckhams .... remember Greece ?
Let's recall Becks if England really want to go to Euro 2008 . -

ya his set-pcs r great but then his dribbling cum heading is still very poor in my opinon..
ENG shld stick to e same 1st-11 thurout(mainly its midfield to att.)..
if keep changing players from midfield to att.,
they will be no basic understanding or greater teamwork betw the attacking 3rd.. -
hes definitely not useless or redundant. even if hes not first team which i think he contributes enough to be, at least on the subs bench for tactical changes

I am enjoying every moment of England's media and fans "kbkb" . I hope they will not qualify for Euro 2008. Their boring football will only make them look like fools . I dont think with McClaren's tactics, Beckham will be effective enough to win matches for them. Sack the weakest link , McClaren. He has proven to us he was a big mistake, that faggot.

england has this habit of selecting players wif history n reputation.
just look at mickey mouse owen, he cant contribute for newcastle yet he can still be recall in world cup. imo his england career is as good as over. -

It's high time to blood the younger players instead of relying on the more "established" but under-performing ones so that the youinger players will gain much-needed experience and prime in 4 years' for the World Cup.
The more "established" players are under-performing coz they can't gell at all as a team. Mebbe due to the big fat pay they are earning, England players carry ultra large egos and this destroys team work..........

I'd say yes. Beckham still has alot of fire in him, and he's actually in form.
Can't dribble and lack of pace? Well, that's why Beckham excels in passing and crossing, isn't it? Instead of running with the ball, he makes the ball run for him. As long as he doesn't make bad passes, it will all be good.
And of course, there's his free-kicks too.
Those of you who thinks Beckham is useless simply because he's 32 years old are being very silly.
How old was Luis Figo in last year's World Cup? Let's also not forget about Zidane, shall we? -
yes. i think he not only serves as a free kicks guy but he's also a mentor for the team, being an ex-captain.
No one said he has to occupy a starting postition. but when the team really starts to screw up, i'm sure a good subsitution will make a difference -
