Why support LFC?

i like the way liverpool prove that they are capable of doing well when ppl think they'd be thrashed etc. just like CL'05 against milan and the recent game at camp nou. and u look closely, we're one of the few top teams that do not have regular fights on the pitch etc. even on off-pitch there's only one particular player who always create problem. the discipline of the players should be appreciated. YNWA.
and when we win big teams, supporters of other teams will cfm say we heng, kio sai, or taiko wan. they just dun wanna say we won by our own strength. dun u ppl agree? haha -
i just like liverpool
probably because the 1st soccer match that i watched was liverpool vs. another team. arsenal i think -
I start watching soccer when pool win games like nobody business.
Rush score goals like playing with kids, kind of boring, so I din support them. -
i supported them since the 'Spice boys' days..
cause my fav player back then was its captain JR..
uhm maybe back then i find pool fans more humble then e others..

I was so sad when Berger left Liverpool.

Somehow or rather,every liverpool player i support will suffer some kind of long-term injury.

i personally admire Luis Garcia which is not one of the 1st team regular even when he is not injure but he always come up with the goods

I started with the Ian Rush/John Barnes/Peter Beardsley era.
Then it became Fowler/McManamann/Redknapp time
Later, Owen joined in. Then we have Gerrard/Carragher.

I support Liverpool because of Ian Rush.
Yes, he scored goals like nobody business.
I guess the reason why Liverpool have so many supporters is that they always fight back and always not there.
Even after winning the CL 05, I dun see any local Liverpool supporter taunting the Man Utd fans.
I support Liverpool because of Anfield, the fans and the YNWA song.
(I dun remember Man Utd, Arsenal or Chelsea having any anthem)
I support Liverpool because it make me cry, make me scream and make my heart stronger.
It is sort of love-hate relationship. (First Love and Love for a lifetime) -
yes. there was this lfc fan who told me... I don't care if liverpool win or liverpool lose. i will always support them till forever.
this is the kinda football spirit other club fans do not have. and i really hate fair-weather soccer fans. my surrounding frens are glory seekers and it's very annoying u know. -

I support Arsenal since 1988/89, when they beat Liverpool in the last game of the season when they were level on point, they win the title and many pool fan hated Arsenal forever and I support Arsenal forever. After that they where named boring boring Arsenal by pool fan.
In 1998 Arsenal win the title from Man U and many man U fan hate Arsenal too,they call Arsenal Sux till today. So this is how fan treat other club. -

Fans at England hate each other for a reason(s). It may be becos of the history, clubs from the same town, fiercest championship rivals, etc.
But for Singaporean EPL's fans case, it's really stewpid la.

I remembered the old SBC used to telecast Bundesliga quite often and that was probably the first league I watched besides the WC.
The mid 80's German domestic league was rather boring I must say. So some how or rather, I switched over to England's Football League First Division. Call it some coincidence... the first player that caught my eye was LFC's Ian Molby who provided a sublime pass to Ian Rush whichh the latter scored the goal. I stayed on and watched the rest of the game and enjoyed their brand of un-English like passing with short balls and creative play from the centre and wings. -
He was really impressive in his early years in LFC after a good Euro Champ display but so too bad about his subsequent injuries. Creative, scores goal and a hardworking player.Originally posted by Patrik:Patrik Berger,my first ever idol. -
