Cos i saw him played a few times , he's quite ordinary to me , although he's a prolific scorer in Spain , but he is not into EPL calibre . Just my opinion .

Liverpool are reportedly set to make a shock move for Valencia striker David Villa - with Peter Crouch tipped to make way for the Spanish international.
Crouch has been linked with a move to Aston Villa and Newcastle in the last couple of weeks after being forced to watch on as Craig Bellamy and Dirk Kuyt have formed the Reds starting strikeforce.
Rafa Benitez has played down reports that Crouch could be sold but speculation of a move for Valencia hitman Villa will to little to quell Crouch's fears about his Anfield future.
Villa is regarded as one of the deadliest finishers in Spain and has also been linked with a move to Chelsea but Valencia have always maintained the striker is not for sale.
Benitez is unlikely to move for a new hitman in January as he is keen to bolster his defence but he may face a battle to keep Crouch with Newcastle very much in the hunt to sign the England man. -

Even if so, they could only afford to sell Crouch at the end of this season, when the new sugar-daddy comes in and gives Rafa his war chest. It'll be silly to sell him in Jan without getting a replacement.
