Tottenham boss Martin Jol is willing to offer Jermain Defoe to Liverpool in a swap for striker Craig Bellamy. The Sunday Mirror says Bellamy has yet to prove a resounding success for Liverpool since his move last summer from Blackburn. His appearances have been sporadic rather than consistent at Anfield - and Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez could be tempted by a deal that would involve Defoe.
Defoe is a proven goalscorer and Bellamy is the pacy, left-sided player that Jol has been keen on bringing to Tottenham. He tried unsuccessfully to persuade Damien Duff to come to Tottenham when Chelsea agreed to sell him for £5m.
Liverpool boss Benitez asks about Real Madrid's Cicinho
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is keeping tabs on Cicinho's situation at Real Madrid. The Sunday Mirror says Benitez has asked Real about the Brazilian's availability as he recovers from a knee injury suffered earlier this season.
Benitez is still in the market for a right-back after being priced out of a deal for Sevilla's Brazilian defender Daniel Alves.
I wont mind Defoe swap.. I feel he can score goals if given a regular run..
And Cicinho will be a good option at rightback..

last time LFC just go both flank and switch flanks and no matter what must go flank and cross the ball but against wigan they cut from side to center and it suit bellamy well

I think Bellamy is a good player. Whether he can play well for Liverpool is another question which only time will tell.
