Cadiz's Lobos welcomes Liverpool interest
Cadiz midfielder Lucas Lobos welcomes interest from Liverpool.
Liverpool scout Pedro Campo has been tracking Lobos in preseason and the Argentine said: "My present club is Cadiz and I don't have any news about Liverpool, although it would be a big dream for me."
Liverpool are on the verge of signing Blackburn defender Lucas Neill for £2million.
The Australian World Cup defender has been linked with a host of top clubs this summer since impressing in Germany, including European champions Barcelona.
But with the clock ticking down to Thursday night's transfer deadline, it looks like Rafael Benitez is finally about to get his man.
According to The Liverpool Echo, the 28-year-old Neill is set to join from Rovers imminently while a quartet of players could be on their way out of Anfield.
Full-back Jan Kromkamp, who has failed to nail down a first-team berth since signing from Villarreal, is expected to return to his native Holland with Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven.
Meanwhile Spurs could be set to bid for winger Harry Kewell, and Florent Sinama-Pongolle and Salif Diao are expected to join newly-promoted Spanish La Liga side Recreativo de Huelva.

Blackburn have rejected a bid from Liverpool for their Australian full-back Lucas Neill.
The Reds contacted Blackburn this week and made an offer for the 28-year-old, who can play at either right-back or left-back, but have had their bid knocked back.
It is understood Blackburn manager Mark Hughes is determined to hold onto Neill, who joined Rovers from Millwall in 2001.

French reports state the former French youth international could be ready to sign a four-year deal with Liverpool in the near future after a deal failed to be brokered before last Thursday's transfer deadline.
