  Liverpool's new striker Craig Bellamy has been charged with two counts of assault following an incident at a Cardiff nightclub in February.
  
  The £6million Wales international was arrested by South Wales Police in March after a 19-year-old claimed he struck her at the Number 10 nightclub in the capital on February 5 this year.
  
  A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "A 26-year-old man has been charged with two counts of Section 39 assault.
  
  "He was charged after answering bail on Friday morning.
  
  "No court date has yet been fixed."
  
  At least it's before he joined Liverpool
