Liverpool to close £6M deal for Blackburn's Bellamy

Liverpool are set to land Blackburn Rovers striker Craig Bellamy next week.
The Guardian says Bellamy will move for £6m after Rafael BenÃtez chose to activate a get-out clause for that amount, due to expire at the end of the month, in the striker's contract with Blackburn Rovers.
The striker had made it clear he would favour joining Liverpool, who will offer him an immediate return to the Champions League, and Rovers boss Mark Hughes was unable to persuade him otherwise.

Liverpool are closing in on Feyenoord striker Dirk Kuyt.
The Mirror says Liverpool have all but finalised a move for the Holland international, and that should go ahead at the end of the World Cup, with the Merseyside club paying around £10m to Feyenoord.
Newcastle United and Tottenham have also been linked with Kuyt this summer. -

Liverpool hope to complete a loan deal with Marseille this weekend which will see Djibril Cisse return to France.
The Mirror says the French club have made the staggering decision to take the striker on a season-long loan deal, even though he won't be able to play again until Christmas.
Liverpool are delighted by the prospect of getting the French international off their payroll, and hope to press ahead with the deal over the weekend.
Cisse will continue to have part of his wages paid by the English club, but will stay with Marseille all season, and if he proves his fitness he will make the move a permanent one at the end of the campaign, for a fee of around £8million. -
That's good news. I am looking forward to see both of them at Liverpool next season.

If it's true , then Marseille is a reasonable lot .
We only lost about 6 million pounds for Cisse , which is 2 million pounds a year , not too bad . Better than Diouf , we lost more money , without getting much back from Bolton , now we are in a dilemma over Diouf , Bolton prefer not to continue the loan deal ....

The agent of Blackburn Rovers striker Craig Bellamy admits the Welshman's move to Liverpool could accelerate later today.
Anfield boss Rafael Benitez is confident the Wales international will join his boyhood heroes after Rovers reluctantly gave them permission to speak to him, despite recently making his a much-improved contract offer.
"I have nothing to say at the minute but I may have more to say on Wednesday morning," said Steve Horner.
But Benitez believes it will be an "easy" decision to make for Bellamy to join Liverpool.
Looks like we gonna have our 1st signing of the new season real soon! -
