Liverpool seek cut-price deal for Middlesbrough's Viduka

  Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is set to snap up Middlesbrough striker Mark Viduka for a knockdown £1.5 million.
  Benitez is turning to Viduka after his plans were sent reeling from the loss of Djibril Cisse and a £7m pay-day from selling the Frenchman.
  
  Viduka would be willing to become a squad man at Anfield rather than feature in each and every game. Capturing Viduka would leave Liverpool with enough cash to pursue Charlton's Darren Bent or Blackburn's Craig Bellamy.
  
  Intersting signing if it go thru..
  
  Crouch, Fowler, Viduka n Bent/Bellamy to fight for the striker role..

  Liverpool talks with Olympique Marseille for young striker Samir Nasri have stalled.
  Djibril Cisse's horror leg injury has wrecked his move to Marseille who, in turn, will now stop their French Under-19 starlet Nasri heading to Liverpool on loan for a year.
  
  Looks like the damage is not only ony Cisse's leg...

  but viduka finishing is good, and he can shoot longe range shots..similar type of player to morientes though..

  I think Viduka has been signed as cover and competition for Crouch.
  
  At the moment among our current crop of STrikers, only Crouch can play target man.
  
  Viduka can provide some cover and competition. For 1.5 Million I think that's good business.

  hope pool wont be dat foolish to sign another striker who is not really good. quite waste money n player spot in my view.
