Poor finishing cost LFC dearly.
Crouch hit the bar twice? Carragher once? Garcia had a very good chance 1-1. So did Crouch.
If half of those chances went in, Lfc would have probably won the tie...Pity, it was not to be, now we must concentrate on the FA cup and finishing 2nd in the league. -

I just don't know why strikers comes to Liverpool end up not scoring.
Just don't get it. Morientes is doing so well when with Monaco, Cisse was the scoring freely in the French League, Crouch is the main goal scorer in Saints.... Fowler was....eeeerrrrr.... injuried when with Man City
Anyway, if strikers don't start scoring... Liverpool is in trouble. How many Gerrards do we need? -

I had a feeling that Rafa is so concerned with training the team to play the tactics that he wanted, he forgot to give the strikers shooting lessons.
Last time in the GH era, at least there was Ian Rush to teach Owen the tricks and such. What is the current situation?

No fault with the strikers and with Fowler too. I still believed it's the tactics.
He just suay come back to a team with long ball tactics, not off the ball running and positioning which is more of what Fowler do. -
He has done well since his return..unlucky to get his goal disallowed against Charlton. That was a legitimate goal. There's more to his game that he can contribute to the club, his vision and experience is worthy. If you notice, the way he springs passes around is something Crouch and Cisse don't give.
Plus, he's here on a free, has a heart truely RED, driven and passionate abt the club. I don't see why LFC should not retain him. Give me Fowler over the Cisses or Morientes any time. -

disappointin... reali bad mistake from carra... he should hav juz cleared the ball instead of tryin to control it b4 clearin.... and pool was reali unlucky... crouch and carra hit post, carra missin from like 2 yards... garcia ballon from close range,fowler disallowed goal,crouch wasted the 1v1 chance...corner kicks and free kicks all wasted...riise last min injured.... hyypia not fully fit....
thought xabi and gerrard played well... looked veri determined.... too bad... no luck... deflect hit post...miskick ball go to opponent, man u deflect ball go in...miskick become cross then score... mayb thats the diff between us.... cisse is hopeless... thought he would be motivated... but was wrong... poor poor game for pool.... -
